"Navigating the State’s procurement (contracting) processes"

This program will offer some insight on navigating your way through the State’s contracting processes. We will specifically focus on the processes that apply to the hotel/convention sector with the goal of improving your odds at obtaining contracts with State agencies. This program will include the following:

    1. Making connections: The use of the State’s bidder registration system (WEBS) and marketing your services
    2. Bidding opportunities, requirements and expectations: Dos and don’ts to responding to agency bid requests
    3. Providing guidance to your (potential) customer: Agency staff may or may not be familiar with all of the options available to them when procuring services, familiarizing yourself with the various processes can help move things forward.

A portion of this program will be set aside for questions and answers so that issues related to your specific situations can be addressed.

Please note:  This program is eligible for 1 contact hour in Financial and Contract Management.

**ZOOM/ SKYPE will be available for this workshop for our Eastern Washington an Boise members.
