Ethics for meeting planners is a subject that can be confusing for both planners and suppliers.  What one planner sees as “no big deal,” another planner sees as “unethical.”  This can be especially frustrating for suppliers who receive conflicting responses from their customers.  Join us as we tackle some common scenarios faced by both planners and suppliers regarding the understanding of government ethics and lean the do’s and don’ts of ethical meeting planning.

The speaker is Kate Reynolds, Executive Director, Washington State Ethics Board

The learning objectives for the meeting are:

1.  Understanding what the regulations state is and is not acceptable ethical behavior for a government meeting planner.

2.  Understanding what government employees can and cannot accept as prizes of gifts from suppliers.

3.  Understanding what types of supplier-hosted functions a government planner can and cannot attend.

Cost to attend is $10.00 - Please register by 10/10/22 on our website and we will send you and invoice for payment and the zoom link for the meeting.
