Pre and Post Conference Meetings - A Vital Key to Successful Event
Via Zoom 11:45am-12:45pm
Planning a meeting can be like a game of telephone; you have an idea in your head and you tell one person who tells another person who tells another person. It is your job as a good meeting planner or supplier to make absolute certain that everything that has been planned comes off perfectly, and the only way to help ensure this is to meet together prior the group’s arrival, to introduce all key facility personnel and agency/department personnel, to run through everything that will take place from arrival through departure, and to hopefully eliminate any surprises. The Pre- and Post- Conference Meeting is vital in ensuring a successful event. At our November meeting you will learn all the ins and outs of conducting productive pre- and post-conference meetings to help you create the perfect, most successful events.
Our speakers will be
Paul Seabaugh, Department of Children, Youth, and Families
and
Robin Toth, CGMP, Administrative Office of the Courts
The learning objectives for the meeting are:
1. Learn how to conduct a successful pre and post conference meeting
2. Understand the importance of the pre-con meeting, of knowing the key personnel in the facility and within the agency/department's meeting planning team, and understanding everyone's expectation before the meeting starts.
3. Know who to contact about any situation that may arise during and after the meeting.
Cost to attend is $10.00 - Please register by 11/7/22 on our website and we will send you and invoice for payment and the zoom link for the meeting.
