Understanding Inflation & Labor Costs

Speaker: Christopher Stanley

Chief Financial Officer & Management Services Director for the Administrative Office of the Courts

Mr. Stanley will be joining us to talk about the upcoming legislative budget process and how the economic news factors into decision-making. Everything from unemployment rates to consumer confidence to actual revenue collections factors into the overall balance sheet as the Legislature starts to make decisions on the next biennial budget.

Mr. Stanley will also give an overview of how state agencies manage these funds while also keeping an eye on three different types of fiscal years (federal, state, and local).

How does this tie into meeting planning? State agencies rely on funding from Legislature to run their agencies which includes meetings & conferences. Join us to learn more!
