Hello PNW Chapter Members!
Welcome to the 2025 - 2026 fiscal year. This year, we have transitioned to a Satellite Chapter by majority vote of our membership. What does this mean? As a Satellite Chapter, we must have a minimum of four meetings within the fiscal year, and three of the four meetings must be educational. The board will still meet every month, but the chapter members will be meeting less frequently. What do we hope to gain from this change? Attendance! We need you to support your chapter by attending meetings. The year started out strong with twenty-one attendees at the September meeting “Current Challenges for the Government Meeting Professional”. Let’s keep up the momentum! Meetings are posted on our website https://www.pnwsgmp.com/
Our next meeting will be on Thursday, December 11, 2025, for the Holiday Silent Auction and luncheon combined with a food drive benefiting the Thurston County Food Bank. Solicitation notices will be coming out soon for donations. We encourage you to attend this wonderful event, bring a friend or colleague and network. The Thurston County Food Bank will also be speaking to the group and giving an overview of who they are and how they support our community.
Our board values transparency, if you have an idea or would like a specific topic discussed at a chapter meeting, please email me or one of our board members.
Thank you and we look forward to a great year.
Warm Regards,
Robin Toth, CGMP
