Children’s Advocacy Centers of Washington provides support to communities that have formed or want to form a children’s advocacy center promoting awareness of the incidence and impact of child abuse in Washington State.  Children's Advocacy Centers offer hope and healing to children who have experienced child abuse and neglect.  They provide services such as:

• Medical evaluations and services
• Crisis intervention and emotional support for victims and non-offending family members
• Counseling for victims and non-offending family members so that they may begin to heal from emotional wounds associated with child abuse
• Multidisciplinary review of cases by a team of professionals, such as law enforcement, child protection teams, prosecutors, medical professionals, mental health professionals, and victim advocates.

The Pacific Northwest Chapter of SGMP is delighted to support this non-profit organization that is dedicated to helping children in abusive situations.
